What is liberatory coaching?

β€œCoaching for Healing, Justice and Liberation seeks to uncover and rediscover traditional and adaptive ways of living out our value systems of expansiveness and liberation for collective healing. We do this in a way that leans into the innate resilience and traditional wisdom of the cultures of our participants."

β€œWe believe that through engaging in individual and collective healing, and through the victories of social justice movements for those most-impacted by systems of oppression, we will achieve liberation for all people."

Liberatory coaching is a process of holding space for my clients to access their highest self, potential and their own guidance systems to navigate the challenges faced from the personal, to the professional. It is a deeply spiritual process of connecting to self in the pursuit of aligning with one’s deepest longings, values systems, and way of life that will support one’s ability to thrive, maintain integrity, impact and hope even in the most challenging of times.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with activists holding marginalized identities and are rooted in intersectional social justice values. Social justice activism is a lens applied to one’s way of life, and not confined to those with day jobs in movement spaces. Inclusivity is a fundamental value of my practice across all lines of difference, including age, economic circumstance, ethnicity, sex, range of ability, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity/expression, etc. The majority of my career has been in activism and in resourcing social justice activists to ensure we have thriving, growing movements with strong legacies that iterate through time to meet the needs of the most marginalized in our societies and that protect all of creation.

Lean on me
When you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on...

for it won't be long
Till I'm gonna need somebody to lean on

You just call on me brother
When you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
